El Camino Hospital - 1st Floor Imaging

About the project

The project involves a comprehensive remodel of the Imaging Services and Emergency Department on the first floor of the new main hospital, including the replacement of major imaging equipment across CT, general radiography, radiograph/fluoroscopy, MRI, and PET/CT rooms. The scope also includes converting existing rooms to add a third CT scanner, along with upgrades to the stress testing lab, nurse station, shared work areas, and all related support spaces. Work was executed within an active hospital environment and required careful coordination across eight distinct phases. The project also leveraged Building Information Modeling (BIM) to manage complexity and ensure precise planning throughout construction.
