Chabot College Biological Sciences Building

The project involved constructing a 41,000-square-foot, three-story LEED-certified building that houses teaching labs, lab support spaces, faculty offices, and building services. Our team managed the HVAC systems through BIM coordination and construction, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. What made this project unique was the seamless transition from BIM coordination to 3D shop drawings, paired with the installation of fast-acting air valves in the teaching labs. These valves provide safe, stable, and energy-efficient airflow that adapts quickly to changing lab conditions, supporting both sustainability and safety goals.
